Anthony Cook

Ant started riding as a 3 year old on his red tricycle and has not stopped since! He started mountain biking in 1992  and decided to enter his first race in 1994 at Nerang. Living in Toowoomba, he rode down to friends at Gatton, got a lift with them to the race and rode back home the next day! He particularly enjoys enduro racing and has raced and toured over most of New Zealand and South East Queensland including Goolga MTBO Cup, Kooralbyn 12 and 24hr, Odyssey 3 stage race, New Zealand North Island Traverse and return, Taupo Huka, Rotorua Whaka, Rotorua Cateye Moonride 12hr, Flight Centre Epic since 2002 (minus just two years) and the Auckland to Queenstown Honeymoon touring ride. He still races locally - the longer the better for him! Ant regularly rides 440km over two days to visit his Mum in Dalby and likes nothing better than spending the day on his bike. Soon to be a first time Dad, there will soon be somebody challenging the bike for attention in his house!

Ant started working in the bike industry in 1995 after a teaching career. He is the go-to man for hard-to-find, out of the normal parts and accessories and particularly enjoys helping people set up the perfect (and unique) bicycle for a specific purpose or adventure!

Favourite bike: Specialized Crux Carbon disc. road/dirt, multiple personalities all just by changing tyres!
