Fidler Sports

Fidler Sports is one of Australia's leading multi-sport training squads and delivers training services to aspiring athletes of all levels regardless of ability. All sessions are conducted in a safe but challenging environment with the motto of 'fitness and fun'.

Fidler Sports was established by Troy Fidler in 1989 when, as a professional triathlete, he decided to start a swim squad on Saturday afternoons. At the time, he was one of the world's leading triathletes, and in the subsequent decade he achieved 3 Australian titles and competed at 3 World Championships, with his highest place being 8th in Wellington in 1994. Troy soon recognised the opportunity to expand from a swimming only squad to triathlon related training services and now delivers triathlon and single-sport training services to athletes of all ages and abilities.

From its early beginnings with a squad of just 6 athletes, Fidler Sports has grown into one of Australia's premier training squad with over 650 athletes, offering up to 16 training sessions per week at various locations across Brisbane.

You could be training for your first Bribie Island or Raby Bay triathlon or maybe you have just qualified for the world famous Hawaii Ironman. No matter what type of race, Fidler Sports will help you achieve the goals, but more importantly, you'll have fun along the way.

Spike Triathlon

Troy established Spike Triathlon Club Inc. in 2002 and the success has resulted in the Club being named three times National Triathlon Club Champions (2005, 2006 and 2007). Fidler Sports continues to evolve and is now not just associated with adult triathlon training but also junior training, triathlon camps, one-day clinics, online coaching, corporate fitness and consulting to major events such as Noosa Triathlon and Weet-bix Kids Tryathlon.

Troy is a colourful, friendly personality and dedicated coach who Planet Cycles is pleased to continue to support along with his equally colourful, friendly and dedicated squad.

Brad Bevan Triathlon

Brad Beven Triathlon BBT is the new name of the squad based in and around Brisbane. Brad has many years experience racing as a professional Triathlete for 25 years and coaching for the last 5 years. That doesn't mean BBT caters for the elite. We work with all different levels of athletes and sometimes results aren't the only thing we look for. It is about interaction with similar minded people looking at achieving whatever they set out to do in an environment that is conducive to that.

BBT works closely with Club Croc INC. as the preferred coach for their members. Club Croc has been working as a successful club in the south east corner of the state. It is a not for profit organisation that works to benefit members in their Triathlon pursuits whether it be social events, recognising members achievements, organising events, or just bringing the tent and BBQ along to races.

Brad Beven OAM dominated Triathlon in his era, like no triathlete before, or after his time. Four times ITU World Cup Champion,7 times Australian Grand Prix champion, International Grand Prix Champion, five times Australian Triathlon Champion, 3 times runner-up ITU World Triathlon Champion, on his day, Brad Bevan was unbeatable. Now sharing his knowledge and passion for the sport as a coach, Brad loves to support athletes of any level to better their skills and performances. Planet Cycles and Specialized are pleased to be able to provide Brad's cycling needs and support his athletes.
