New Madone

QUESTION: What's won the Tour de France more times than Lance Armstrong?

ANSWER; TREK MADONE!!!

Yes, for 8 years out of the past 9, Trek has been the bicycle under the winner of the most famous road race in the world. What is perhaps even more impressive is that Alberto Contador's frame this year was the exact same frame as you would buy off the rack as a Madone 5.2 Pro.

Good news is that the 2008 models have started landing in Australia now.

Trek totally went back to the drawing board and re-worked everything this year. With the world's top engineers, frame-builders and riders like Lance and the Discovery team all working to create something special, Trek has come up with a frame which is lighter and stiffer than the previous models, yet amazingly produces less road shock to make a more comfortable ride! The curved, sloping top tube, internal bottom bracket, head set and cabling with the seat mast desjgn all contribute to make a very sleek and beautiful looking bike. Available in both pro and performance fit and a bigger size range, Trek have ensured there is a new Madone to fit every body.

Cannondale Super Six / System Six

Come in and see the 2008 models in the new Systemsix and the full carbon Supersix range. The Supersix (below, bottom) boasts cranks which are the lightest on the market. The bike has great acceleration, climbs well and makes corners a blast so come in and test-ride one today. In the Systemsix (below top), the oversize front triangle and oval tubing of the top tube work together to produce an explosive ride, earinig podiums in some of Europe's most prestigious one day classics, perhaps it is the edge you have been looking for!
