CANNONDALE

World-renowned Cannondale are considered to be at the forefront of bicycle technology. Their "Headshock" system offers the rider a stiction-free and extremely rigid fork system like no other. The unique "Leftie" is a development expanded from the headshock system by using one leg and allowing comparable travel to a conventional triple-clamp fork at half the weight. Both of these systems come with lockout, which allows the rider to transform the bike into a completely rigid machine with the flick of a lever or the press of a button even on the fly.

Cannondale has a huge range of models to suit any kind of mountain biking including the Scalpel, Moto, Rize, Rush and Caffeine and 29ers in the hardtail options.

We sell more Cannondale Rush bikes than any dealer in Australia. Why? Their single pivot-point means low maintenance, less to go wrong. They are US made, the lefty assures plenty of travel, the Fox RP23 is a great performer, the frame is reliable and its great design caters to both the novice and experienced 24 hour rider alike. For the connoisseur, perhaps a Rush Carbon Team, with a frame 200g lighter than its Aluminium brother, will suit your needs. The Cannondale "Feminine" range is also sure to please the girls.

GIANT

Giant was one of the first companies to mass produce bicycles over 35 years ago, so they know a thing or two about manufacturing. They utilize the most advanced techniques with sophisticated alloys and butting techniques and it's all supported by stringent quality control. The ALUXX Fluidformed alloy used in bikes like the Alias (right, top) provides the rider with a fantastic value-for-money hardtail.

The simplified 4" suspension system of the Halo 2 (right, bottom) smoothes the trail without wasting pedaling energy over climbs or smooth terrain. Teamed with a sturdy suspention fork and disc brakes and you will find that the Halo is more fully featured than some suspension bikes twice it's price.

FISHER

Gary Fisher is credited as "inventing" mountainbiking. He and a bunch of mates modified old bikes, called them Klunkers and had a ball crashing their way down Mt Tam. His first Mountainbike was built in 1974. The Fisher company have been building mountain bikes for over 25 years in the US and are still at the forefront of the sport.

Always challenging design, Gary Fisher has embraced 29ers - he didn't invent them but has produced more than anyone on Earth and currently has nine different models. The theory is that the bigger wheels make the lumps you ride over less significant and they are a blast to ride! Test-ride the Platinum Series 6066 butted and hydroformed aluminium XCALIBER (below, right) with its G2 geometry and 80mm of travel and be converted to the fastest growing segment of the MTB world - 29ers!

The Paragon (above, right) also uses Genesis 2.0 or G2 29er geometry for improved low-speed handling which doesn't affect the high speed stability or climbing characteristics. The Fox F80 RL 29 fork provides 80mm of travel to the Platinum Series 6066 Aluminium butted and hydroformed mainframe with SRAM X9 drive system to give you a ride that will have you at the head of the pack.

The GENESISTERS women's range will help beginner gain confidence and the experienced rider increase speed and technical ability. The geometry provides improved climbing and safer,  more confident descents by focussing the weight over the back wheel.
