Planet Cycles prides itself on making sure that bicycles are always the correct size for a rider. For those serious about training, performance or with special needs due to injury or body type, a professional bike fit can be an important step. To achieve optimal performance and reduce susceptibility to injury, your bike should be the optimum fit for your body and needs. Back, hip and knee injuries all commonly occur as a result of a poorly fitting bike position. We have some of the most experienced and skilled people in the field, right here at Planet Cycles who will listen to your needs and fit you to your bike. Appointments are necessary as a full, professional fit-up will take upwards of an hour.

You will need to wear your normal cycling nicks,jersey, socks and cycling shoes and will be fitted to your bike on a bike stand in the store and also riding on the street outside. Typical changes made include saddle, stem and bars, occasionally cranks and forks. These will all be changed during your appointment if at all possible. Additional charges will apply for new equipment put onto your bike.

If you are buying a new bike, a professional fit-up will ensure the new frame has the correct geometry for your needs.

Professional Fit-up - $100 - included in the purchase price of any bike over $1500

Professional Re-fit - $60
